Dec. 15 (UPI) — HBO Max launched the trailer for The Climb on Thursday. Jason Momoa and rock climbers Chris Sharma and Megan Martin host the rock mountaineering festival display.
Sharma says he met Momoa after they had been each newbie climbers. Momoa when put next Sharma and Martin to Superman and Surprise Girl.
The trio problem 10 new climbers to scale rocks all over the world. Places come with Majorca, Spain and Wadi Rum, Jordan.
The winner receives a $100,000 prize and a prAna sponsorship. Contestants come with women and men of every age, from their 20s and 30s to a 53-year-old lady.
Momoa waxed philosophical about his love of mountaineering.
“Mountain climbing, it is so rooted in my soul,” Momoa stated. “It simply opens your thoughts.”
The Climb premieres Jan. 12 on HBO Max.
